Canon EOS 20D, 40D & 60D cameras with a 500 mm f4 IS USM lens were used for most images and a 1.4X extender was added for many.
Most close-in images were taken with a Canon 100-400mm f4.5-5.6 IS USM zoom lens. I also use a Canon 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro Autofocus Lens.
For wide-angle shots of landscapes, birders, and some birds, I still use a Sony Cyber-shot DSC 828 (8 mpx) digital camera with a 28-200 mm Zeiss lens.
