Canon EOS 20D and 40D cameras with a 500 mm f4 IS USM lens were used for many telephoto images. A 1.4X extender was added for many close-ups of small birds.
Many images were also taken with Canon 100-400mm f4.5-5.6 IS USM and Canon 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro lenses.
For landscapes, birders, and some birds, I used a Sony Cyber-shot DSC 828 (8 mpx) digital camera with a 28-200 mm Zeiss lens.
